Reviews for La Foresta Ristorante
Review highlights
Based on 3,266 reviewsLa Foresta Ristorante is widely praised for its cozy and romantic atmosphere, enhanced by a charming terrace with ambient lighting. The restaurant is known for its fresh seafood and authentic Italian dishes, particularly pizza and seafood pasta, which many diners find flavorful and satisfying. Homemade wine and a good selection of beers complement the menu well. Service is generally appreciated for being friendly and efficient, though some feedback points to staff being stretched thin during busier periods. While most dishes receive positive remarks, a few customers noted occasional inconsistencies, such as oily fried seafood. Overall, La Foresta is regarded as a solid dining choice in Sirmione, offering a pleasant setting and quality cuisine with attentive service.
The food here was decent. Definitely one of the better options in Sirmione. We had Pizza. Nothing out of the ordinary but a decent, nice meal. Ambience was great. They have a terrace with lots of lights why gives a cozy vibe. Good for dinner!
We had a great lunch here. Pizza was absolutely amazing, fresh and tasty. Great beer, on draught or bottle.
We were at the restaurant on 10/16/2024. We liked it so much that we spent three evenings here. great food. great service. fresh local fish. wonderful homemade wine. We highly recommend visiting this restaurant.
Calm and quiet place. Near the road. Service was pretty fast (it was in the low season).
It has a cool, romantic atmosphere. Food was good, I can’t say very good as we ordered fried seafood and it was too oily, it just dripped with fat, I do not recommend. We also ordered spaghetti with seafood and it was very tasty, I recommend it. The number of staff is too small in relation to the number of customers, you could see the exhaustion on their faces, I feel sorry for them very much.
We went to La Foresta 2 times during our stay. Great food, service and atmosphere as well.
Whilst staying in Sirmione we drove past this place and noticed how beautiful it looked with the lights at night. The food was excellent and glad we visited the restaurant. We had Mozzarella & Tomato Salad along with Beef Carpaccio to start. The local Olive Oil was lovely. We chose the Turbot fish for 2 as our main. Good choice I must say. Rafael the waiter took the time to plate up the fish once cooked. The waiters were fantastic and the local Rose Wine went down well too. Highly recommend this restaurant
